Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, from Beaumont Puy de Domme. Her parents as a dentist and a teacher, recognized and supported their daughter's enthusiasm for acting and drama on a young stage. This support is more than enough for Audrey to thwart her initial desire to become the first primatologist. When she was a teenager the rise to fame was quick and accompanied by the beginning of her successes. In 1998 after her studies, she took part in a French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning the journey to become an actor. Though she was a student at in the Institut Catholique de Paris and was a member of the church during her childhood, Tautou has stayed away from this upbringing, stating that she is not officially Catholic. The modeling and acting careers of Tautou were intertwined. She became the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is known as the Chanel Muse. In addition to her acting career, she has an interest in photography. The actress recently showed some of her photographs during Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival with the name Superficial. The majority of her photographs concern famous people and celebrities. Also, they include an assortment of portraits of herself in addition. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her first big role, starring in the role of the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie is a box office hit internationally and recognized at many awards shows around the world. It is currently the most successful French film of the French language in the US. Following this success Tautou starred in a wide range of movies ranging from British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood through Ron Howard's direction of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
